The Under Secretary of State for the
Colonies presents his compliments to the Under
Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, and is
directed to transmit, for perusal and return, copies
of despatches from the Governor of Hong Kong
forwarding weekly reports on the local situation
during December 1938 and January 1939. In future
copies of these reports will be forwarded to the
Foreign Office for retention upon receipt from
Hong Kong.
