3. Japanese Consul-General in Shanghai continues to press his colleague through senior Consul for full particulars even so, and I should be grateful if rulings given at the end of 1937 could be re-examined and desirability considered of authorising His Majesty's Consul-General in Shanghai and other Consuls to furnish full particulars of British property officially to their Japanese colleagues.
