With reference to paragraph 2 of Ronald's
letter to Gent of the 27th of July, I am sending
you the enclosed copy of the Hong Kong situation
report for the week ending July 29th as I think you
may be interested to see this summary of Japanese
discriminatory action against British shipping
on the China Coast.
