Admiralty repeated C.in C. China.

S.N.0.Canton reports that all Chinese entering and

leaving SHAMEEN were stopped yesterday Friday and rigorously

searched by Japanese military. Ostensible reason for

search is that Japanese military yen are being traded

for Chinese currency on SHAMWEN. No foreigners have

so far been molested.
