Confirmed that Japanese have withdrawn from

Bias Bay and N. W. shore of Mirs Bay areas whence normal

foodstuff and other goods are arriving in Hong Kong.

Unconfirmed report states they are pulling up track on

Kowloon Canton railway in Pokut

north of frontier.

2.

Sankong area few miles

Collated information from all available sources

tends to show that Japanese have temporarily abandoned

intention of instituting military operations or strict

blockade against colony though small force may remain in

frontier houses for considerable time.

3.

Chinese have destroyed all motor roads south

of Waichow but report of their counter attacking or major

activities probably false.
