Note by the Secretary

In anticipation of instructions from the Chiefs of Staff a signal from the BDCC (FE, on the subject of planning with the United States on the defence of Hong Kong, has been referred to the Joint Planning Staff for examination and the preparation of a report.

2. The 'B' Section is accordingly invited to prepare the required report for consideration by the Directors of Plans during the week ending 16th March, 1956.
