In the Easter adjournment debate on Hong Kong this year I asked Nigel Fisher to look into the question of the type of unofficial member appointed to the Executive and Legislative Councils in Hong Kong. They are drawn from an extremely narrow and wealthy
I had no reply range of the population. from Nigel Fisher on this point and I shall be glad if you will let me know what steps have been taken to secure more representative appointees in the future.
