for the general protection of the Colony. This last force should correspond to the proposed Victorian contingent to the Federal Field Force. For further assistance in the preparation of this Scheme the Committee suggest that a copy of the latest revision of the Cape of Good Hope Scheme should be sent to Victoria.

11. Finally, the Committee would call attention to paragraph 6 of their Remarks, dated the 20th December, 1895, in which they suggest the embodiment of certain additional information in the Annual Reports of the Commandants.
