It was agreed:-
"That the Joint Planning Sub-Committee
should be instructed to prepare
a draft appreciation on the lines of (a), (b) and (c) above, subject to any modification to the terms of reference which might emerge after the return of the Chiefs of Staff from France."
The Chiefs of Staff may now wish to
(i)
Whether an appreciation on the implications
of war with Russia is now necessary.
(ii) Assuming that the appreciation is still
required, whether any modification to the abovo terms of reference is now necessary.
