Note by the Chief of the Air Staff.
I am very anxious about the inadequacy of our resources in aircraft for long range anti-submarine escort duty during the coming Winter. I attach a draft telegram which I suggest should be sent from the Chiefs of Staff to the American Chiefs of Staff through the Joint Staff Mission.
