The output of mustard gas is controlleò and can be expanded at any time. There is no need for improving the. capacity for mustard gas.
Phosgene output is satisfactory.

The H.M. type of gas produced in bountiful quantitics. destroys the container after a short space of time. are being made to find a stabiliser which will cure this defect.
The limited supply of H.T. mustard gas is being used in these containers at present, The deterioration is not so rapid.
Spray Bomb. The new spray bomb is in the experimental The Spray stage only and is the production of the McAoP: is called the "Flying Cow".
The Air Ministry has prosented a rovised programme, received on 17th November, requiring about 4,200 tons of Mustard and 1,300 tons of Phosgeno por month.

These demands involve us in additional capacity. intended to build capacity to produce 1,500 tons of Mustard and 1,000 tons of Phosgene per month.
The expenditure involved is about £3 million, and I have authorised the work.
Phosgene will be manufactured at the "A.D.B." plant at Hill House. Another plant will be sut up at Wade.
Production will be brought in during 1942, increasing throughout the year, and completed in 1943.
The Ministry of Supply has made a suggustion to the Air Ministry that storage centrus should be set up near principal bombing stations. It is hoped that the Air Ministry will carry out this programme on their own account and for their own benefit. Storage is a necessity. They have the responsibility.
Provision is being made by the Ministry of Supply for storing mustard gas in bulk for army use. Phosgene cannot be stored,
