USE OF TERMS "RADIO", "RADIOLOCATION" AND "WIRELESS".

Note by Secretary.

The attached letter from the Chairman of the Wireless Telegraphy Board to the Secretary, Chiefs of Staff Committee was referred to the R.D.F. Policy Sub-Committee in anticipation of the wishes of the Chiefs of Staff.

The R.D.F. Policy Sub-Committee agree that, in principle, it is desirable that the terms "Radio "R.D.F." and "Wireless" should be clearly defined but do not agree with the definitions proposed in the letter under consideration.

The Sub-Committee recommend that the definitions set out in Annex II, which have been agreed with the Wireless Telegraphy Board, should be approved by the Chiefs of Staff,
