Casualties to H.M. Auxiliary Vessels and to Naval Personnel.
23rd December-Motor Fishing Vessel Margaret Hamilton was sunk in collision in Greenwich Harbour.
18th December 25th December-At Hong Kong. M/L No. 80 burnt out and Skid-towing vessel Indira sunk.
The following casualties to naval personnel have been reported :—
Officers: 7 killed, 9 missing. 3 wounded. Ratings: 23 killed, 36 missing. 2 wounded.
