"To consider questions within the sphere

of Home Defence affecting Service and Civil interests which may be referred to it by Departments, by G.H.Q., Home Forces, or by the Chiefs of Staff organisation."

SUB-COMMITTEE ON THE ALLOCATION OF ACTIVE AIR DEFENCES.

To consider applications for active air defence.

To make recommendations where necessary for active air defence.

(iii) To recommend the form and scale of

defence.

(iv) To suggest the method by which the

requests should be met.
