10.

There is no immediate prospect of additional aircraft operating in the 3.0.A. C. service, There is a plan to operate two G-Class flying boats but this may not eventuate for some considerable time on account of technical troubles.

11.

The Priority Board, whilst very fully appreciating the necessity for meeting all demands for troop malls, consider that the demands for passengers and freight, which in most cases have direct operational repercussions, must be accorded full consideration. This is especially so in the case of Malta, as air transport to Malta is now, except at very infrequent intervals, the only method by which Malta's requirements can be met.

12.

The Board therefore recommend that the capacity allocated to troop mail should be on a weekly basis and that the present average lift of 410 kilos should be increased to 550 kilos per week. This will reduce accommodation available for passengers by 1 per week (one passenger equals 100 kilos).
