The above arrangements will come into force when ordered by the Admiralty.

The Eastern Theatre comprises:-

(1) While the U.S. are non-belligerent, the existing East

Indies, China, Australian and New Zealand Naval Stations.

(2) If the U.S. are belligerent the existing East Indies,

China, Australian and New Zealand Naval Stations bounded on the north and east by the following line:

The parallel of 30 degrees N. from the coast of China to meridian 140 deg. B. down the latter to the Equator, along the Equator to 180th Meridian and down the latter. The Pacific Ocean to the east of this line will be an area of U.S. strategic resp.nsibility.
