These observations were taken wit the perspex" windows open. When the windows were closed the screen was much less obvious and its efficiency improved.

Yes but generators were being extinguished

Some smoke streaks visible, particularly on East side of screen. The water surface and tents alongside the Target were not visible at any stage of the flight. From a few miles the screen might have been mistaken for a patch of mist or fog,
