B.P.C. are negotiating for the purchase of 105 m.m. ammunition.
Orders could possibly be placed for manufacture of new ammunition in U.S.A. but deliveries could not take place for many weeks.
This ammunition could only be manufactured by diverting capacity in U.K. or U.S.A., or creating new capacity in U.S.A. Deliveries could not be expected until end of year.
