BRITISH. AMERICAN AND DUTCH TECHNICAL MILITARY CONVERSATIONS.
Note by the Joint Planning Staff submitting a
Draft Report for the Chiefs of Staff
At their meeting on the 4th October, the Chiefs of
"Instructed the Joint Planning Staff, on the
assumption that the technical conversations with the Americans and Dutch would be held at Singapore in the near future, to consider what preparations should be made in this country and in the Far East prior to the conversations being held; instructions should be given to our representatives as to the line they should take and how the conversations should be conducted.
In accordance with the above terms of reference we have prepared the attached draft report.
