The Prime Minister has minuted as follows:

The answer to the three questions in paragraph 1 are (a) 26th July, (b) yes and (c) vide attached list*.
3. It is suggested that the Chiefs of Staff should inform the Prime Minister that they consider a further meeting with Commanders-in-Chief would be of considerable value. It will be recalled that the Meeting on the 26th July dealt mainly with invasion. The next meeting might possibly deal with what dispositions should be made for the Winter, and any other points which the Chiefs of Staff think should be included on the Agenda.
