CONCLUSIONS,

The Committee is of opinion

(a) That an expedition of the type described

in para. 4 is now possible on any part of the coast between Hythe and Beachy Head. The length of warning probable will be too short to allow of an orderly evacuation taking place. They therefore consider

that partial evacuation should now be carried out in this area.

(b) The threat of invasion may, later, be

extended to the Coast West of Beachy Head. The position will be re-examined as necessary.
