TERMS OF REFERENCE.

THE Prime Minister desires that a Sub-Comunittee of the Committee of Imperial Defence, composed as follows-

Lord Crewe,

Mr. Haldane, Mr. McKenna,

Lord Esher,

Colonel J. E. B. Seely, Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Colonial Office, Admiral of the Fleet Sir A. K. Wilson, First Sea Lord,

Rear-Admiral the Hon. A. E. Bethell, Director of Naval Intelligence, General Sir William Nicholson, Chief of the Imperial General Staff,

Mr. H. W. Just, Assistant Under-Secretary, Colonial Office (Secretary to

the Imperial Conference),

Sir Arthur Nicolson, Permanent Under-Secretary, Foreign Office,

Rear-Admiral Sir C. L. Ottley (Secretary),

shall meet to formulate questions connected with the Naval and Military Defence of the Empire to be discussed by the Imperial Conference, 1911.
