8. The Cabinet took note that the Prime

Minister has asked the Chancellor of the Duchy

of Lancaster to act as Pritish Representative-

on the Special Commission of the League of

Nations for the preparation of a draft Convention

on the Private Manufacture of Arms, and that the

subject was shortly to be considered again by

Lord Salisbury's Sub-Committee of the Committee

of Imperial Defence (Paper C.P.-205 (28)).
