1. Area. This section extends from a line running down the south spur of Mount Parker, across the Lyemun Pass, to a line drawn east and west, from shore to shore, across Haiwan Hill on the mainland. It includes the Lyemun forts and batteries, and comprises the eastern portion of the island, and the peninsula, which extends from Dragon Hill to Cape D'Aguilar.
It is bounded on all sides by the sea, except the small northern limit on the mainland.
2. Composition.--The following forts and batteries are situated in this section:—

2-8-in. howitzers are in position in an epaulement just below the Lyemun Barracks, and 2—6·6-in. howitzers of the movable armament have been allotted to Mount Parker.
In addition to the above there is a Brennan torpedo installation for the protection of the eastern entrance to the harbour.
