1. Area. This section comprises the western portion of the island. It extends from the western shores of the island on the west to a line drawn down the south spur of Mount Kellett on the east, and is roughly 4,000 yards long and 3,000 yards wide. It is bounded on the north, west, and south by the sea, and on the east by Mount Gough and Mount Kellett.
2. Composition.-The section comprises the following forts :-

2-12-pr. Q.F. guns.
