2. Marching order, khaki drill, helmets, putties, haversacks, and water-bottles filled belts, and side-arms, and one day's cooked rations to be carried in the haversack.
3. 100 rounds of ball ammunition per rifle, 50 rounds per carbine, and 24 rounds of pistol ammunition by officers and staff-sergeants to be carried in pouches, and 5,500 with each Maxim.
The ammunition and any arms not already in possession of members of the corps. will be issued at headquarters on parade.
4. Men's kits limited to 40-lb. per man, officers' baggage limited to 120-lb. per
officer.
Officers' mess kits and stores, and all mobilization equipment already issued, and guns will be stacked separately by parties at headquarters by o'clock for removal
on arrival of coolies.
The O.C. Field Battery will kindly tell off a party of 40 N.C. officers and men for
this work.
5. One officer

) and 1 N.C.O. and 6 men of "C" Company; 1 officer ( ) and 1 N.c.o.
.C.O. and 6 men of " D" Company will proceed to Ordnance Office to draw reserve ammunition and field equipment of the various units. This will be despatched when ready without waiting for the stores of other units.
At the Ordnance office they will meet the Camp Adjutant of the section, who arranges for despatch; coolies and transport being provided by A.S.C. Coolies will be sent to headquarters without requisition for removal of kits, officers' mess, and all equipment on regimental charge.
Intimation must be sent to O.C.A.S.C. of the time at which coolies will be
required.
The duty of the officers told off to proceed to Ordnance office will be to collect the stores of all units of the corps and insure their safe arrival at section headquarters (Mount Austin). The men told off to this duty will take charge of the coolies and see that none desert.
Os.C. units will also detail guards for the safe custody of the baggage and stores mentioned in paragraph 4 to sectional headquarters.
Two men from each party of "E" Company, viz., Belchers, Stonecutters, and Lyemun, should also attend the Ordnance office and take over and insure safe custody of their equipment.
6. All coolies will be sent on completion of their duty to the Camp Adjutant of the section, who will arrange for their return to the A.S.C.
Every precaution must be taken to prevent the desertion of any of them.
The corps will provide their own draught for guns, and coolies will be at head- quarters at
o'clock to move them to Mount Austin Barracks.
