Submarine Mines.-No. 3 Submarine Mine-field is comprised in this section, having its dynamo and test-room in Lower Belcher's Battery, an observing station on the hill above Upper Belcher's, and its electric light emplacement on the Praya.
Scope. The objects of this section are to oppose with its heavy guns, in concert with Sections I and III, an attack or bombardment by a fleet, to serve and protect the mine-field, and to prevent a landing along the northern shore from Mount Davis eastwards.
