and medical equipment will be furnished to the Section Commander by the P.M.O., viz. :-

Surgical haversack and water-bottle

Field tourniquets

First field dressings

Medical comforts as required.

Coolies for carrying the dhoolie and stretcher mentioned in the Schedule of Equipment will be indented for as required.

Modes of Attack.-The modes of attack that may be expected are:-

1. Bombardment from ships.

2. Fire of musketry, machine-guns, and mountain-guns from the hills which command the forts.

3. Rush of storming party.

1. Would be replied to as above.

2. Would have to be met by Section XII and the Reserves, supported in some cases by the fire of the guns of the section.

3. The gunners would man the parapets armed with their carbines. Additional Works.-Wire entanglements would be laid on the glacis of the works.

This would be done on the first day, and would occupy a party consisting of—
