The detailed distribution of the Royal Artillery is shown in the annexed Manning Table (Schedule XX (10) ).
Position of Commander. The position of the Commander is in the fort. Method of Quartering.-The troops will be quartered in the existing mat-
sheds.
Camp Equipment and Stores.-The camp equipment, stores, and tools required for use in this section are enumerated in the annexed Schedules XVII (10) and XVIII (10); all the articles are kept separate by the S.O.S.O., ready for immediate issue, and on mobilization will be sent direct to the head- quarters of the section by means of transport to be provided by the O.C.A.S.C., without requisition. The Section Commander will receive the stores on the ground, and will sign the customary receipt vouchers.
Reinforcement in case of Attack.-The gunners can, if necessary, be rein- forced from the gunners in the Victoria Reserve.
Communications.-Communication with the Reserve is by a good flat road, about 3 miles, or by water.
The telegraph station to be established on mobilization in the fort commu- nicates with fortress, head-quarters, Lyemun, Kowloon Dock, &c.
Method of Supply: Ammunition.-The complement of ammunition for the guns of this section is 200 rounds for each. The whole is stored in the magazine of the fort except 100 cartridges per 9-in. R.M.L. gun (200 in all), which has been demanded from England.
Small-arm Ammunition.-On marching out, all ranks carry in their pouches 100 rounds per Lee-Metford rifle and 20 rounds per carbine. An additional 100 rounds per rifle and carbine is dispatched by hired transport to the section as a first reserve. This reserve should always be kept np, and requisitions on the O.S.D. should be furnished accordingly.
Food-Rations will be issued for Europeans daily from the A.S.C. head- quarters at 4 A.M., and will be escorted to the section by parties from the Victoria Reserve.

Rations for Asiatics are delivered under regimental arrangements.
Water. Obtained from the small stream in the vicinity.
Transport. There should be little transport required within the section itself. In the event of any being required, intimation should be sent to the O.C.A.S.C., Victoria Reserve.
Depôts. All stores will be accumulated within the battery.
Medical Services and Dressing Sations.-The Schedule of Troops, &c., shows the number of the Indian Hospital Staff allotted to the section, and the Schedule of Equipment indicates the hospital equipment furnished for the dressing station which will be established within the battery, and for which a ward coolie will be supplied.
In addition, the following surgical and medical equipment will be furnished to the Section Commander by the P.M.O., viz. :-
Surgical haversack and water-bottle..
Field tourniquets
First field dressings
Medical comforts as required.
