The works of the second line, as above, will be thrown up by contract labour, simultaneously with those of the first line, under the Royal Engineers of the section.

Thirty coolies will be employed during the fourth and fifth days in bringing up materials for the magazines, block-houses, &c.

Mat-sheds will be built by contract labour in about twenty days, viz.: nine matsheds for Asiatics.

Engineer District. This section is, with Sections IX and X, in the C Engineer District, under the general Engineer supervision of Captain Stewart, Royal Engineers.

Tools.-The tools required are enumerated in Schedule XVIII (8), and will be issued with the camp equipment.
