APPENDIX (G).
Intelligence Form.
This form is to be used by the Examining Officers of the Hong Kong Examination Service, or other officers boarding British merchant vessels entering Hong Kong during war or a period of strained relations, and forwarded by them at once to the Senior Naval Intelligence Officer at Hong Kong.
Masters of all British merchant vessels are to be interrogated on the headings given below. If name or nationality is not known, give general appearance, number of masts and funnels, colour of funnels and hull, and whether battleship, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd class cruiser, scout, destroyer, torpedo-boat, cable ship, auxiliary cruiser, transport, or ordinary merchantman.
Information concerning all vessels met with, whether British or belonging to allies or enemies, is to be given.
Masters of merchantmen are to be cautioned against making this information public.
