The Engineer Company will be marched to Wellington Barracks at once, where the O.C. will receive his orders from the O.C.S.M. Members of this company are attached to R.E. for discipline and rations.
7. The Mounted Troop will fall in at Kennedy's stables, and will be marched to Messrs. Jardine Matheson and Co.'s wharf at East Point, where they will be embarked for the mainland to be encamped at the headquarters of No. IV Section on the Kowloon City rifle range. On arrival the officer in charge will report to the Commander of No. IV Section, under whose orders he will come. One day's ration for horses will be carried.
8. The members of the Hong Kong Volunteer Association will, in accordance with the proclamation issued by the Governor, proceed to the Supreme Court or Magistracy for enrolment as members of the Hong Kong Volunteer Corps, and when enrolled will report to the Commandant of Volunteers at the Volunteer Headquarters, who will arrange for their equipment and instruction in infantry drill.
When sufficiently trained, arrangements will be made by which a company of fifty strong can be assembled at short notice at Murray Barracks to be attached to the Reserve there.
9. Rations and transport will be provided by the O.C.A.S.C.
