The O.C. company will provide the necessary parties and stores for dragging the gun to and from the tram and for loading and unloading, 100 rounds per gun will be taken, for which coolies will be provided.
12. On arrival at High West the same arrangements for guards will be made as in paragraph 10.
13. Machine guns, with ammunition, on tripod mountings will be handed over to the infantry as follows:--
O.C. Belchers sub-district---
1 to the O.C. infantry company carrying out company training in No. II
Section.
O.C. Lyemun sub-district-
I to the O.C. infantry company carrying out company training in No. III
Section.
O.C. Kowloon sub-district-
1 to O.C. No. 2 Infantry Bn. in Kowloon.
14. Machine guns thus issued will be replaced in R.A. Stores by Os.C. sub-districts from those held by A.O.D. for R.A.
15. The headquarters of the companies at Stonecutters and Lyemun will be established at those stations, and Os.C. companies will take up their quarters at those places.
16. Company training and fort manning will be carried out by all companies.

1. In accordance with General Order No.
Os.C. companies will at once complete all necessary arrangements for bringing the detachments of men under their command which have been allotted to sections of defence up to the strength laid down in the manning tables.
2. Os.C. detachments proceeding to the different sections of the defence will detail an escort of 1 officer and 6 n.c.os. and men to attend at the Ordnance Office to assist in drawing the field equipment and ammunition for their detachment and escorting it to their section of defence. The hour at which this equipment will be issued is notified in Table H (ii) of Chapter III.
Requisitions for rations will be sent in daily by the O.C., accounting units to which the details at the work belong to the O.C. section of defence by 10 A.M.
Requisitions for fuel and light required for men under canvas will be included in the ration indent.
The cooking accommodation will be utilized in the out forts as far as possible for the men encamped near the forts.
Two days' rations will be carried by all ranks in their haversacks.
3. Dress: Field service order, khaki; water-bottles filled. Sixty rounds of ball ammunition will be carried in pouches and will be drawn at once from company stores; any deficiencies will be made up by the O.C. section of the defence on arrival at sections. Os.C. detachments will notify at once the number of rounds required to their Section Commanders on arrival.
4. No requisitions for transport are required. Coolies for the carriage of baggage and equipment in regimental charge will be supplied at the barracks and distributed by the Quartermaster. Baggage will be strictly limited to 60 lb. per officer and 20 lb. per man. Os. C. companies will be held responsible that those amounts are not exceeded.
5. Each O.C. a detachment will detail, in addition to the escort mentioned in paragraph, an escort of 1 n.c.o. and 6 men to act as baggage guards for the safe conveyance of the baggage to the forts or the section headquarters, as the case may be.
