at the headquarters office, by telephone or by messenger, any information he may receive through the police system of communication, which centres in the Central Police Exchange, of any hostile or suspicious movement of ships or men in the neighbourhood of the outlying stations north of Tai-Po, or the mainland, or along the south shore of the island of Hong Kong.
(e.) The Section Commanders, who will communicate to the headquarters office by the military command telephone system information as to the hostile movements preliminary to or in the course of an action.
(f.) The Censor, who will communicate anything of military importance with which he may become acquainted in the exercise of his duties.
8. He will distribute 12 Chinese runners to be employed as scouts and runners between the outposts and headquarters of sections (three to the headquarters of each section), for whom a distinctive dress is provided by the C.O.O.

(i.) At the Precautionary Stage.
1. He will be responsible for the movement of all troops to their stations as shown in Table B (i), and for seeing that the arrangements of the Dock Companies for placing nets in front of their docks are complete.

1. Movement.-Troops will move off to their sections in accordance with time table attached. 2. Ration Escorts.-The O.C. the Reserve will furnish the O.C.A.S.C. Victoria and Kowloon on their requisition with escorts for the distribution of rations to sections, and to take charge of the coolies employed.
3. The following new guards will be furnished by the Hong Kong Police :--

4. Army Service Corps Duties.-The Inspector of Army Schools and the Garrison School Master will report themselves at once to the 6.C.A.S.C. for employment in connection with A.S.C. duties.
5. Schools. All schools in the garrison will be closed.
