the Maxim guns with their full complement of ammunition, viz., 11,000 rounds per gun.

10. Engineer and Hospital Stores, &c.-The C.0.0. will also have to issue at once the tools, &c., required by the C.R.E., the equipment for the two base hospitals to be formed, the stores required by the R.A. for moving the guns into position, the equip- ment for the visual signalling stations, the equipment for the examination steamers and examination batteries, the blouses for the R.A. coolies, and the badges for the A.S.C.] coolie transport corps that will be formed.

Requisitions and vouchers for these stores are held in readiness by the C.0.0.

11. Miscellaneous. Further action by the C.O.O., whose time will be much taken up by arranging for the supply of naval ammunition and stores, will be as follows :---

(a.) Purchasing locally such hospital equipment and stores as may be required for the base hospital.

(b) Providing additional accommodation for laboratory work. This will best be provided by tents and boarded floors.

Arrangements have been made for an officer of the A.O.C. to visit all posts over storehouses and magazines. A subordinate will be kept in attendance at each magazine and storehouse by day and night so long as considered necessary to meet sudden requirements.
