continued its music training and promotional activities for 6,980 trainees and 22,632 participants in 2020.
To reduce the impact of COVID-19, the office arranged real-time online teaching, school music workshops and online exhibitions. It also produced instrumental tutorial videos for schools and the community to enjoy during the pandemic.

Art Promotion Office
In 2020, six sets of public artworks under the 'Viva! River' art project were installed along the Tuen Mun River. A public art programme, 'Take PARKin Art II', was launched in Mody Road Garden, Jordan Valley Park, Morse Park and other recreational venues to engage local communities and show the vitality of community open spaces in Hong Kong.
The Art Promotion Office also worked with the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale to showcase the works of local artist group L sub.
Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre (vA!)
Managed by the Art Promotion Office, the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre is an open, multidirectional art space that focuses on art learning, research and exchange. It organises arts activities and provides facilities for hire, including well-equipped art studios, multi-purpose rooms, a lecture theatre and an exhibition hall. Major programmes included the Art Specialist Course 2019-20, the media art project 'medialogue' and the 'art talk' online broadcast.
Oil Street Art Space (Oi!)
Oi! is a platform for art practitioners to realise their artistic creations and invite community engagement. Projects in 2020 included 'The Practice of Everyday Life, 'A Chapter of Ease' and 'People-Plant-Place!
