Notes: Figures for kindergarten, primary and secondary levels refer to the beginning of the respective school/academic years. Figures for post-secondary education are as at the end of December of the respective years. The beginning and end of a school/ academic year may vary among different educational and training institutions.
(1) Figures include both full-time and part-time students attending long programmes lasting for at least one school/academic year. Figures do not include students attending adult education/tutorial/vocational courses offered by schools below post- secondary education level.
