Hong Kong caters for sport at all levels. The city debuted in the 2017-18 Volvo Ocean Race as a host and also as a race participant represented by the Scallywag sailing team, which won the Melbourne-Hong Kong leg of the competition. In Kai Tak, a Race Village was set up to hold the Hong Kong Stopover.
