Notes: (1) In 2014-15, expenditure on post-secondary education (renamed from higher education to better reflect the nature of the programmes covered) covers provision for degree or above and sub-degree education (excluding vocational education) and related student financia! assistance schemes administered by the Student Financial Assistance Agency. The expenditure is reclassified to exclude the Vocational Training Council's self-financing operation, which is now covered under vocational education given the nature of the programmes. (2) Figures for 2013-14 and before for post-secondary education and vocational education have been adjusted to align with the classifications
adopted in the 2014-15 estimate.
(3) Figures include government recurrent expenditure on pre-primary education, special education, vocational education and bureau support. @Figures are subject to revision later on.
