Elections
In 2011, the District Council Election and the Election Committee Subsector Elections were held in November and December respectively. The fourth District Council Election since the establishment of Hong Kong as a Special Administrative Region of China took place on | November 6 with more than 1.2 million people, or 41.49 per cent of registered voters, casting their ballots.
