The new Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal,

Mr Geoffrey Ma Tao-li (left), takes the Judicial Oath before the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, in a swearing-in ceremony at Government House on September 3. The Chief Justice vowed to uphold the Basic Law and to serve Hong Kong conscientiously, dutifully, in full accordance with the law, honestly and with integrity.
