levels of education. Figures do not cover institutions offering adult education/tutorial/vocational courses.
(2) Figures from 2005/06 onwards include kindergarten-cum-child care centres upon harmonisation of pre-primary services
in September 2005. Figures from 2008/09 onwards also include special child care centres registered under the Social Welfare Department. Accordingly, they are not directly comparable to figures for earlier years.
