Recent years have seen an awakening of interest in Hong Kong's built heritage, and the Government has responded by allocating extra resources for the conservation and revitalisation of historic buildings and neighbourhoods. In September, the Government added 41 waterworks structures located within six pre-war reservoirs to the declared monuments list, including this bridge at Tai Tam Tuk Reservoir.
