The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) figures presented in the statistical appendices have been revised owing to the release of the new data series of chain volume measures of GDP and its components in mid-October 2007 to replace the previous constant price measures. This is to gear with the latest international guidelines on the compilation of GDP in volume terms in order to provide a better measure of the real growth of the aggregate economic activity of an economy. Figures in current market prices have also been updated based on latest data sources and benchmark data.
