Elections
It was a busy year for
elections. In March, Mr Donald Tsang was re-elected as Chief Executive. November saw
the District Council Election take place, with 405 elected positions at stake in Hong Kong's 18 District Councils. Finally, in December, a hotly contested by-election
for Hong Kong Island's
vacant seat in the Legislative
Council brought an end to
an exciting year.
