Hong Kong athletes return from the 9th Far East and South Pacific Games for the Disabled in Kuala Lumpur after winning 25 gold, 30 silver and 24 bronze medals.

The Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Mr Wu Bangguo, officiates at the opening of ITU TELECOM WORLD 2006. This is the first time the triennial expo has been staged outside Geneva.
