Hong Kong Ecology
The fish stocks have improved considerably with cleaner water and artificial reefs made up of lashed car tyres (left) providing an underwater breeding ground for many subtropical species (bottom left). The Sha Chau and Lung Kwu Chau Marine Park is greatly influenced by the Pearl River fresh water run-off where the Chinese White Dolphin is often found (below).
