(5) Figures also include students who study in subject groups run with common year-1 curriculum. Students in these subject groups will proceed to either a Diploma (Technician Level) or a Higher Diploma (Higher Technician Level) course in year-2 based on their academic performance in year-1.
(6) Approved post-secondary colleges refer to colleges registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance. (7) Other colleges refer to private schools which provide post-secondary courses, such as Chu Hai College, Hong
Kong Adventist College, Hong Kong Buddhist College, etc.
(8) Figures refer to students attending UGC-funded programmes as at December of the year.
(9) Starting from 2001-2002, figures also include students attending accredited full-time self-financing post-
secondary programmes.
