The Mid-Autumn Festival in September is among the most colourful of occasions. Leading up to the day, shops and stalls sell a bewildering range of lanterns in all shapes and sizes from animals of the lunar calendar and fish to cars and spaceships -which children and their parents parade under the full moon.
