positions taken up by women in the private and non-governmental sectors, and a survey which, inter alia, collected information on issues that were of concern to women and the extent of gender stereotyping.
In order to achieve a maximum impact on society, the commission will focus its efforts on the theme of capacity building in the coming year. It will collaborate with the non-governmental sector in promoting the realisation of women's full potential and elimination of gender prejudices, and striving for a more prosperous and better future for all.
